Paid only when you want sync.

PhaseCrate is local-first. The app, the database, every feature you'd actually need for one machine — that's free, forever. Cloud sync between machines is the only paid tier.

Why is there a paid tier at all?

Because running a sync server costs money, and we'd rather charge €4 than insert ads or sell your data. Free is built into the product, not a loss-leader.

Can I switch from Cloud back to Free?

Any time. Cancel, your local file keeps working unchanged. The cloud copy gets deleted after 30 days.

What happens if I don't pay?

The free local app keeps working forever. Only cloud sync stops. You lose nothing on disk.

Do you sell my data?

No — we don't sell or share your data, full stop. Cloud sync data lives in a private per-user database used only to run the service. See Privacy.

One-time purchase?

Not at the moment. Sync is an ongoing service, so the model is ongoing. We don't rule it out for a future "perpetual offline" tier.

Is there a team / label plan?

Email teams@phasecrate.io. We've done bespoke setups for record labels and DJ collectives.

Start where it's free.

You can always upgrade later — and the local app keeps every record on your machine either way.
